On 28th June 2024, Uganda Free Zones Authority (UFZA) had an interactive training session with the Foreign Service Officers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the implementation of Free Zones in Uganda and the opportunities they present. We explored the role of Commercial and Economic Diplomacy in the implementation of the Free Zones agenda and highlighted areas of synergy between the two government institutions for the advancement of the Free Zones agenda in Uganda.
