UFZA held a meeting with Mama Keita (Ms.), the Director of the sub-regional office for East Africa of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) with whom we discussed areas of synergy and support to the Authority to boost exports. The meeting agreed on entering into a tripartite arrangement that includes Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC) to work out a framework of undertaking policy research to enhance Uganda’s exports in the region, continent and globe.
