Uganda Free Zones Authority will, during the Free zones license application process require applicants to use the online system (the Uganda Electronic Single Window) to complete the application. This also facilitates interfacing with the revenue authority in the implementation of the free zones operating procedures.
To use the online system, applicants should be aware of the following basic requirements.
i) The applicant/ representative of the free zone’s license applicant should have an account on the single window system.
ii) To create an account, the applicant must have a Tax Identification Number (TIN)
Note: TIN used should be for the company for which the Free Zone’s License is to be submitted.
iii) An email address with which the TIN in (ii) above is registered.

Upon completion of the registration process, a verification notification will be sent to the email provided in
(iii) above with a confirmation link.
