A team from Uganda Free Zones Authority led by the Executive Director, Mr. Hez Kimoomi Alinda, guide the Hon. Gen. Wilson Mbasu Mbadi, Minister of State for Trade, on a site tour of the Entebbe International Airport Free Zone.
The Minister of State for Trade, Industry and Cooperatives, Honorable General Wilson Mbadi Mbasu toured the 1st Public Free Zone in Uganda located in Entebbe, to familiarise himself with the implementation and operation of the Free Zones Scheme in Uganda. The Entebbe International Airport Free Zone, at 60% utilisation, is projected to raise US$ 113 million in export earnings within 3 years, create 753 direct jobs and 600 indirect jobs, inject US$10 million in additional private sector investment .
