UFZA has signed an MoU with Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC) today, 20th May 2016 at the Authority’s Boardroom.
The Executive Director of UFZA, Mr Richard Jabo said “This partnership is particularly crucial given that the Free Zones concept is a new undertaking in Uganda although it has been implemented and successfully so, in other countries for a while now.
The MoU highlights key collaborative activities such as conducting policy relevant research; strengthen the capacity of UFZA staff and effective policy engagement, where EPRC has demonstrated expertise over the years.
Dr. Sarah Ssewanyana, Executive Director of EPRC said ‘It will allow us to reach a common goal – contributing towards Uganda’s development.Indeed, the objectives of this partnership are well aligned with the EPRC strategic plan.”
