Uganda held the 29th Uganda International Trade Fair at the Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA) Show Grounds, Lugogo, Kampala from 3rd to 10th October 2023 organized under the theme, “Driving Manufacturing and Trade Efficiency through Digital Transformation and Innovation”. The Trade Fair attracted local and international manufacturers, traders, and distributors from all sectors of the economy.
UFZA participated in the 29th Uganda International Trade Fair to sensitize the participants about the benefits and opportunities of operating under the Free Zones/Special Economic Zones scheme and to attract both local and foreign investors into the Free Zone.
The exhibition that was officiated by H.E the Vice President of Uganda Major Rtd. Jessica Alupo, provided a platform for Ugandan manufacturers, innovators, and start-ups to showcase their products, services, and solutions that have the potential to revolutionize industries and economic growth in Uganda.
Speaking at the event, H.E the Vice President re-affirmed Government of Uganda’s commitment for continued infrastructure development & other investment support initiatives to manufacturers for increased yield.
